This page demonstrates a little bit of everything: some home-made scalable vector graphics (the fractal set of circles is entirely in SVG), a responsive grid design, a bit of the latest CSS functionality, and a lot of other little tricks.
Please take a look around and let me know if you'd like to work together or see more examples of my work. I'd be happy to hear about your project.
Who am I?
I'm a curious and creative thinker who works flexibly and quickly. For me, the fusion of how things look, behave, and interact is where it's at.
Present & Past
I currently work for a small software company in Seattle. My primary task is to train, support, design, and build custom solutions and integrations for users of our software. In additon, I give presentations around the world on a wide range of industry topics.
I have programmed ever since I was a small child. I chose to major in Jazz Studies and Performance at Western Michigan University and Wayne State University. For many years I toured and performed as a jazz musician until eventually the development work I was doing became full time. I freelanced as a web designer, built custom applications, and was chosen to build a custom database solution for Manhattan School of Music.
